The finished length of this model,
designed to a scale of 1:200, is an impressive 59.4" (not including oak base).
The vessel's hull, main superstructure and funnels are illuminated from within and a
frameless glass dust cover is included. Contrary to what other model sites might claim,
this is the finest and most accurate large scale traditional
wood-constructed replica of the SS
United States available, built by a true craftsman
who knows ships! This is a model you can be proud to display
and one that will only appreciate in value. The model pictured,
one of three identical replicas constructed, was built for the SS
United States Conservancy and officially unveiled at
the June 24, 2011 Gala Celebration in Philadelphia. This model is
