80,774 GRT; 1,019 x 118.1 ft
Quadruple screw, Parsons geared turbines

Arguably the best known and most successful transatlantic liner of all time, the Cunard White Star superliner Queen Mary served nobly in wartime as well as in times of peace. Though it took an inordinate amount of horsepower to overcome the innovative hull design of her competitor, the spectacular Normandie, she was able to capture and hold the Blue Ribband until the arrival of the SS United States in 1952. A truly impressive waterline model measuring approximately 61" in length in 1:200 scale. Mounted on a hardwood base with glass dust cover included. Finished in polychrome enamel with brass and diecast metal fittings. Built on a commission basis. Call or email models@cabinclass.com
