23,719 GRT; 682 x 89.2 ft

The last large liners built to feature a cutaway counter stern, the Independence and her sister Constitution (above) clearly fit into the category of classic liners. The plans for our model were created, in part, using photographs of an original Art Model Studios model from 1952 but can be adapted at the client's preference to represent either vessel as they appeared post-1959 in black or white hull. 41" in length in 1:200 scale. Brass and diecast metal fittings; illuminated from within. Hardwood or traditional painted base with glass dust cover included. Built on a commission basis. Call or email models@cabinclass.com
