We are labeling this a postcard, though the extensive text printed on the reverse leaves no room whatever for a message, stamp, or address! Obviously intended as a promotional piece, this card advertises the Burlington Route's 100th Anniversary, and features the beautiful "Silver Meteor." The reverse provides a brief history of the road, taken from "Milepost 100," which is described as a concise history of the Burlington's first century, a copy of which was available for free by writing the line. This card is in excellent, clean condition, with nice corners.
