Welcome to a brand new feature at Cabin Class Collectibles - our transportation china pattern archive. We often regret, as pieces come and go, that we have not maintained a record of the many interesting and unusual patterns we have had an opportunity to offer. We realize as well, with the loss of Zack Jennings' Steamship China Collector site, that there is no comprehensive online reference for transportation china patterns. We have decided, with the encouragement of Barbara Conroy, author of Restaurant China, Volumes 1 and 2 , that we would provide such a site. As our clients include some of the best known collectors in the field of transportation memorabilia, we are confident that we can compile an extensive archive of patterns. The fact that this will be compiled online means that it will be a "living" archive, and will continue to grow without the restrictions of a published work.

The links above will take you to the new pages, which are under construction. We have begun with the steamship patterns as we have access to the greatest number of examples. Already, we have posted nearly 100 patterns. The archive actually resides at our satellite site, Dinner In The Diner.com, which includes a restaurant pattern archive as well. Our policy is to illustrate only patterns which we have on hand, or have been submitted by our friends and fellow collectors, and not to use scans or images taken from previously published works.
