Cunard
| 9468 | Cunard | Aquitania | 1934 | $25.00 | |
A charming illustration on the cover of this dinner menu, which also bears "Easter Greetings" at the top. Sunday, 8 April, 1934. A beautiful example, and a very nice memento. |

| 2812 | Cunard | Parthia | 1953 | $7.00 | |
Luncheon, 9/8/53 - a colorful floral still life on this menu. Some very light soiling along the lower edge, but still a nice example. |

Drink coasters, a rare find intact as these are quite delicate! Off-white with brown, embossed printing & illustration. Scalloped edges, 3¾" across. |

Luncheon, 6/10/59 "Well Met;" two 15th Century mariners enjoying a glass, as the crew unloads their caravel. 1 crease to the lower left corner, else a clean example. |

| 2887 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth | 1959 | $8.00 | |
Dinner, 8/27/59. A full cover color photo of members of the Household Cavalry at Whitehall graces this menu. Very slight corner damage to this one. Very colorful. |

| 2727 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth | 1960 | $7.00 | |
Some light staining, but only on the back of this dinner menu, 9/23/60. The cover bears a full size photo of St. Martins, Trafalgar Square. The Cunard fleet is listed on the back cover. Very nice. |

| 2729 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth | 1960 | $7.00 | |
Another crisp example, large format, luncheon, 9/23/60. A French chateau at Lac d'Annecy. Full color photograph. Nice! |
|||||
| 2730 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth | 1960 | $7.00 | |
The popular "Famous Mariners" cover, for dinner, 9/22/60. Large format once more, and very crisp and clean. |
|||||
| 2732 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth | 1960 | $6.00 | |
The two, well-attired mariners drinking wine in this illustration, may have well spilled a tiny drop at the lower border! Otherwise a very fine example - luncheon, 9/21/60, large format. |
|||||
| 13546 | Cunard | Queen Mary | 1962 | $12.00 | |
Watercolor portraits of nine famous mariners grace both the front and back covers of this luncheon menu from the Queen Mary, presented to the table on October 1, 1962. Some soiling on front and back of this example, apparently from greasy fingertips - perhaps the "Cold Buffet" was at fault! |

| 13549 | Cunard | Queen Mary | 1962 | $22.00 | |
A basket full of colorful roses on the cover of this Bon Voyage dinner menu from the Mary. Dated September 28, 1962. Just a hint of a bump to the lower right corner, otherwise in fine condition. |

| 13540 | Cunard | Queen Mary | 1962 | $20.00 | |
A lovely menu from the Queen Mary, featuring a graceful ballerina on a dark olive green field. Dated October 2, 1962. Very nice condition, showing a light crease at lower left. The spine shows a double fold, which indicates the menu was probably miss-folded originally. This is apparent on the reverse cover, but does not affect the face. The white mark which appears at lower left is the artist's signature. A lovely example. |

| 13545 | Cunard | Queen Mary | 1962 | $24.00 | |
Entitled: "An Artist's Impression of Parliament Square, London;" the signature on this colorful cityscape appears to be Rutledge. Luncheon on board the Queen Mary on September 27, 1962. This example shows a slight miss-fold, but is otherwise pristine. |

| 13544 | Cunard | Queen Mary | 1962 | $24.00 | |
A very lovely Georgia Robin landscape graces the cover of this menu, saved by the diner at luncheon on September 28, 1962. The reverse cover lists the eleven principal passenger vessels in the Cunard fleet, and their tonnage. A fine example. |

|
A neat, black plastic swizzle featuring the Cunard Line logo at top, and the name "RMS Queen Mary" along the shaft. Though it is possible these were in-service items, we believe these were more likely produced after her Long Beach arrival. However, it was likely soon afterwards, as the "R.M.S." designation is still extant. Neat items, regardless; and in mint condition. |

| 13329 | Cunard | (unknown) | 1950 | $120.00 | |
A wonderful find! A rectangular damask tablecloth (two available) from Cunard, featuring a geometric lattice design with the name "Cunard" in 1¼" high lettering woven several times into a band which runs down both sides along the long axis. Truly excellent condition considering the heavy use this item likely endured. A couple of extremely pale stains - quite insignificant. No holes or worn edges. 84" x 48". A pity the white-on-white pattern will be camera shy, as it is quite attractive. The perfect background for your Ivory Ware china! |

|
Examples from the famous Art Deco "Cube" service - these in the beautiful translucent brown glaze thought to have been used for hot chocolate. Manufactured for Cunard by George Clews of Tunstall. Often found marked "Souvenir," indicating items intended for the gift shops on board the Queens and other Cunard vessels; though actual service items are identical in all respects. Some degree of crackling is characteristic of this glaze treatment, and is to be expected. Minor manufacturing flaws, in the glaze application or in the bisque pottery, are not uncommon as well, and these will not be noted unless the integrity of the individual item is compromised in some way. Weight of the glaze applied varies between items. We mention this as items may vary slightly in appearance from those photographed. Though perhaps not as delicately decorated as examples from the First Class "Ivory Ware" service, the translucent brown tones are truly beautiful, and enhance the sculpted form of these wonderful, Art Deco items. |

| 10937 | Cunard | (unknown) | 1960 | $32.99 | |
The popular shell-shaped dish from Foley. This is the larger sized piece at over 4" across, likely intended for lemon wedges. Showing minor wear to the gold decoration around the rim, otherwise very nice with no cracks or chips. |

A pair of clear plastic, oar shaped swizzles with "Cunard Line" on the blade. Excellent condition - one of the two shows some small scratches (teeth marks?) on the blade. These were discovered together, so a pair they shall remain! |

|
Cunard's famous "Ivory Ware" china, produced for use on board the Queens beginning in the 1930's, and in service until their retirement. Produced first by Foley, and furnished by Stoniers of Liverpool, Maddock would produce later pieces. The earlier, Foley examples are a delicate and creamy eggshell color, with the signature underglaze grey band and orange lines, with a black edge line applied overglaze. The later Maddock items appear a bit more tan, and can have (visually) a very fine, grainy appearance. Both are lovely. Check our listing page for items and quantities currently available. |

| 12514 | Cunard | (unknown) | 1965 | $27.99 | |
A favorite Cunard piece, and obviously quite attractive to passengers as quite a few tend to turn up. The shell-shaped butter pat by Foley. It is possible these were sold in the gift shop on board, which would also explain their prevalence. Several recently acquired, each in excellent condition showing a slight bit of wear to the gold rims. Certainly an item we wouldn't hesitate to put to use! |

|
A beautiful, large serving spoon from Cunard White Star. The pattern is the simple Art Deco design used on board the Queen Mary. This piece is stamped "Romney Plate," and bears the line's "C" crest on the reverse. Signs of use, but plating in excellent condition. A very nice example and, for its size, rather unusual. |
