16483 Braniff   1960   $48.99

A teal blue-green wool blanket from Chatham for Braniff. The blanket measures 46¾" x 63¾", and is decorated with a band of lighter blue and "Braniff" in block letters. The blanket exhibits a few dark, rust-like stains that professional dry cleaning lightened but did not remove. There are also two small holes in the fabric, but these are quite minor, and the weave is quite strong with no excessive wear. Not a perfect example, but still a nice item from Braniff!

16562 Braniff   1970   $27.99

A neat "R.O.N." (remain over night) amenity kit for women from Braniff International. White vinyl with gold "BI" crest and print. Complete as far as we can tell, though it appears that the kit was used a single time. A bit of the "Poof" deodorant has leaked, but has caused no significant staining or damage to the interior of the case. There is a booklet within explaining the meaning of "R.O.N.." This is the first example of this particular kit we have seen.

A beautiful bright blue plaid wool blanket from Faribo for Delta Air Lines. This is a small lap blanket, measuring 38" x 57" overall. Excellent condition. National Air Lines

16485 National   1960   $89.99

A wonderful wool blanket from Kenwood for National Air Lines. The color is a very attractive dark sage green, and the airline's crest, measuring 11½" across, appears at center. Overall dimensions are 58½" x 54". There are two small and insignificant tears near the corners - these are minor and could be repaired, if desired. The integrity of the weave is such that there is no danger of further damage so long as the blanket is not put back into service! There is evidence of an old coffee stain, but this is extremely faint, and almost went unnoticed. We have had the blanket professionally dry cleaned, and it looks beautiful! A very nice memento from National.
