We though we'd best place this lovely figure here in the Gallery, as she is unquestionably a rare figure, and truly lovely to behold! We attribute her to the firm of Gerbrüder Heubach, though she is devoid of markings. One may find the larger version of this figure, dressed in blue instead of pink, on page 70 of Marc & Shona Lorrin's book: The Half-Doll. It is noted that the doll illustrated in the book has had her forearms replaced, and it appears likely that she did not have the lovely rose applied to this example. The blue-clothed version of this figure is also illustrated on Stan Straka's Teepuppen site. |

From a the collection of Lise and Allan in Denmark comes this, and the following two figures. This is a magnificent example of the Art Deco style used to its best advantage in a half figure - though one must have had to be quite creative when completing the costume, as the typical voluminous skirt would probably not have been in character! |

Pierrette by Dressel and Kister. Another marvelous figure from Lise and Allan in Denmark. Could she be any more lovely? |

And finally, a truly delightful powder jar - you must use your imagination to picture the 1920's boudoir which was likely once the home for this, and possibly several complimentary figures on this theme. Once again, a beautiful lady from Denmark - thank you, Lise and Allan! |
