This figure has a wonderfully expressive mouth, with lips slightly parted, as well as beautiful, big blue eyes. Her most striking feature, however, is her large yellow hat! She is dressed in white, and though there are distinct molded features to her garment, these have not been colored. This actually enhances the appearance of this figure, as there is nothing to detract from her lovely face! Incised: "5581 Germany". | SOLD | ||||

Another figure which must have been a treat for the decorator! At least eight colors have been applied to this wonderfully modeled little lady. In addition to her finish work, the modeler took great pains with her lace puff sleeves, hat, and ruffles. Incised: "Germany" at front, and "17243" at back. This elegant nude has two distinctive characteristics. Firstly, she has been cast using pink slip, as opposed to adding flesh tone after the bisque firing. Secondly, her beautiful face is framed with a substantial head of jet black hair. The decorator took great care when painting this figure's eyes, which were modeled slightly closed. A tiny line indicates the lower lid, and a red dot has been placed in the inner corners. This, in addition to her black eyebrows and perfectly painted mouth, creates a dramatic impression. She also has a beauty spot just beneath her chin. It is possible this was an accidental inclusion in her glaze, but it is wonderfully placed and charming! She is incised: "6785 Germany". | |||||

This lovely little lady wears a rose in her hair and one at her waist. Her number is a bit difficult to make out, but may be 13961, (confirmed by MW) and her mold was incised "Germany" as well. Her scoop neck, sleeveless top is predominantly white, with a light blue band at the waist. Light grey hair and nicely painted features. | |||||
