| Pattern description:
This china, likely used in Second Class on board the SS United States,
features a plain grey glaze. As the two items illustrated indicate, the
shade of grey can vary considerably between items and manufacturers. Often
backstamped with the name of the steamship line, though the items
illustrated are not. Large plates in this pattern are of a
"coupe" or rimless design. Pattern notes: none Submitted by: Cabin Class Collectibles Contributors: Resources: Restaurant China, Vols. 1 and 2 by Barbara Conroy |
