| Pattern description:
This pattern consists of rim decoration, beginning at the top (or outer
rim of the saucer) of a wide gold line, a wide cobalt blue line, and a
narrow gold line. The logo measures ¾" in diameter, and features the
head of a bald eagle, ringed with thirteen stars. Olive branches appear at
the bottom of the ring. Pattern notes: It is believed that this pattern was used exclusively on the United States Lines vessel "SS Leviathan". Submitted by: Cabin Class Collectibles Contributors: Resources: Restaurant China, Vols. 1 and 2 by Barbara Conroy |
