pittsburgh & cincinnati item detail
pittsburgh and cincinnati pattern detail Pattern description: This pattern consists of a floral design in a blue or blue-grey. Additionally, applied to the center of this piece is a large ship's wheel, upon the rim of which appears the line's name. The wheel encircles an image of a paddle steamer.
Pattern notes: The pattern illustrated in the close-up at left is on a double egg cup which does not bear either a manufacturer's mark or the steamship company logo. China in this pattern has also been seen bearing the logo of the Nantasket Beach Steamboat Company.
