orient line item detail
Pattern description: This pattern consists of an underglaze decal decoration featuring seashells, anemones, and seaweed in brown, yellow, and grey-green on ivory-bodied china. The width of the design pictured, which appears on the saucer, is just over 2¾". An entirely different collection of shells appears on the cup, and that decal measures 3½" across. It is conceivable that even more designs appear on larger items such as plates, however we currently have no other examples on hand, or images of them, to either confirm or disprove this.
Pattern notes: none
