Pattern description: The principal element of this beautiful pattern is an Oriental scene. Additional decoration consists of acanthus-like flourishes, appearing around the rim of plates, with lines in blue and yellow-orange. Some items are topmarked with "Italia" and the line's crown logo. This long-lived pattern, examples of which have been recovered from the wreck of the Andrea Doria, appears with variations in the crown design, as well as the font. Many different scenes have been discovered, and the exact number which were produced is not known.
