cgt a.d. cup and saucer
Pattern description: A double brown line decorates this china, which was designed with strong Art Deco influences. The logo consists of the stylized initials "CGT" in a tall, brown, rectangular shape. Body color is white. On the A.D. cup and saucer illustrated, the logo appears on the cup only.
Pattern notes: Caveat Emptor! French Line china (silver, glassware, linen, etc.) invariably appears with the name "Normandie" attached, frequently in order to "cash in" on the cachet the vessel's name imparts. One should always inquire regarding provenance when such claims are made.
