syracuse peacock item detail
Pattern description: This pattern consists of a very colorful underglaze decal featuring the famous fowl at center, surrounded by large flowers of various colors. Blue detail has been applied to the embossed design at the rim in a process Syracuse called "Artint."
Pattern notes: This pattern is a stock pattern named "Wakefield" by Syracuse. However, this version, customized with blue "Artint" accenting the Econo-Rim egg & dart detail, is documented as having been exclusive to the railroad.
