Unidentified Topmarks - Coronado
 (click

Though
an hotel is almost certainly the origin of this piece (possibly the
Coronado of St. Louis) we have not, as yet, been able to locate this
particular crest. "Coronado" was, and is, a popular name,
so we felt it best to post this item here pending a positive
identification. Decoration consists of a rust line/band place
between two very fine green lines. The crest itself is quite
elaborate, featuring a pair of eagles and a crown; but it has been
reduced in size to such a degree that the multitude of heraldic
symbols are impossible to make out clearly. A charming piece,
nonetheless.
