Pattern Description: Wide and narrow bands composed of closely
spaced rough diagonal lines in dark green and dark red, arranged in
a large scale plaid pattern, applied as transfer print. Body color
is white. 1940's.
Notes: A striking design. The pattern name sometimes appears in the
backstamp on early examples. Made expressly for Dohrmann Hotel
Supply. We have, as yet, been unable to attribute the pattern to a
specific hotel or restaurant. |
