Pattern Description: Transfer print decoration in reddish-brown on
tan body. Principal elements are paired torches with ribbon, laurel
garland, and a linear, geometric border design. 1930's-1940's.
Notes: It is quite possible that this pattern was inspired by the
1932 Olympic Games, which were held in Los Angeles on July 30
through August 14. Produced in rust on white body, and reported in
green on white as well. |
