Pattern Description: Transfer print border decoration consisting of
cattle brand/ranch symbols in dark brown, with a lariat innermost.
Tan body. 1940's-1950's.
Notes: Identical to the border used with "Rodeo,"
"Longhorn," and Boots 'n Saddle." This version lacks
only the Till Goodan vignette, and is often mixed with those
patterns. In fact, items are commonly found with the
"Rodeo" or "Boots 'n Saddle" backstamp. This is
especially true of oatmeal bowls and other items with a shape that
would not easily accommodate the application of a vignette. |
