Pattern Description: Red, monochrome vignette featuring a mill,
pond, and arch bridge. Wheat, clover blossoms, and daisies decorate
the rim.
Notes: A magnificent pattern, found with the "Desert Ware"
backstamp. This pattern also exists with a green vignette and a
simple, two-line rim decoration, and in brown on "Classic
Café." This design may have been originally produced for a
specific hotel or hotel chain, but the many variations and
quantities available indicate that it was undoubtedly available to
other customers as well. |
