Body Color:
Tan
Decoration: Brown
Pattern Description: Dark brown, parallel lines in semicircular shapes placed at
the rim (plates and bowls). Tan body. 1940's-1950's.
Notes: This is a wonderful pattern, which has somewhat of a western
feel to it, allowing it to mix well with brown-on-tan western
patterns. "Tweed" is the name given to this design by
Wallace, and it is known to have been produced on white bodied china
as well. Decoration can be a dark brown or rust. |
