Pattern Description: Brown line/band on tan body. 1940's - 1950's.
Notes: There tends to be much more variation in the tan tone
of Tepco's "Sunglow" body than in any of the "Classic Café"
patterns by Sterling, Syracuse, Caribe, and other makers. Items
range from a pale sand color, to a richer, "café au lait"
tone. One can also expect to see more glaze impurities and
manufacturing flaws, but these are simply characteristic of Tepco's
ware, and are not normally considered to be defects. |
