Body Color:
White
Decoration: Teal, tan
Pattern Description: Repeating, hand painted, curvilinear brush
stroke border decoration, consisting of two overlapping strokes in
teal, alternating with two in tan. White body. 1960's.
Notes: Described by Syracuse in an early 1980's catalog as:
"The rhythmic flow of simple, hand-brushed strokes, each
meticulously applied in unison with the graceful lines of the
acanthus leaf motif....." A simple, but very attractive and
popular decoration. |
