Notes: Designed for Syracuse by Adelaide Alsop Robineau, this was the first pattern for which Syracuse felt it necessary to obtain a patent, and the design was registered on May 30, 1904. A variation of Violet Border (customized with a crest, and with the colors of the flowers altered) is documented as having been used in the dining cars of the New York Central & Hudson River Railroad.
