Pattern Description: An elaborate and detailed decoration, of which
the main element is a grouping of tropical fruit:
pineapple, banana, grapes, etc., which is repeated on a wide border
with a palm tree and cloud background, and with a geometric and floral
ribbon outermost. Plates feature a large vignette
center, picturing a placid lagoon with palm trees - the grouping of
fruit appears again here, in the foreground. All decoration is green
on white body. 1920's.
Notes: This is a truly beautiful design in a tropical theme. A very nice accent with any
green and white ware. |
