Pattern Description: Half-moon shadowtone in coral, with a reverse
stenciled rose, and stenciled brown leaves. White body, Econo-Rim
shape. 1940's-1950's.
Notes: Magnificent is the only word to describe this exquisitely
beautiful pattern. Designated: SH-1 "Rose" by Syracuse,
one might surmise that this was the first of the nearly 300 Shadowtone
decorations designed by Harry Aitken. Found also on tan, "Adobe Ware" body. |
