Pattern Description: Far-Eastern influenced design featuring three
distinctly different, large floral sprays, and a central design of
flowering branches with a small, colorful bird. Single, dark green
line at rim. 1930's-1950's.
Notes: Plates can be decorated with all three floral sprays circling
the rim, or merely a single spray (as illustrated). The green-lined
variation of this pattern appears most commonly without the central
decoration. Quite collectible, due partially to its use by the
Matson Navigation Company. Produced also by Mayer. |
