Pattern Description: This pattern consists of large, hand-painted,
mustard yellow leaves and black branches on white body; usually seen
on the Essex shape.
1950's-1970's.
Notes: A simple, lovely, and long-lived pattern, which is documented
as having appeared in early 1980's Syracuse catalogues. A known
customer for this pattern is the famous "La Placita," a
noted Route 66 establishment located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The
restaurant's initial order specified a custom topmark. However,
later orders eliminated this as a cost saving measure. |
