Body Color:
White
Decoration: Olive green, blue-grey, mauve, orange, black
Pattern Description: The main element of this pattern is a large,
underglaze decal featuring a Persian pheasant on a branch with large
blooms of varying color. The tones are muted; mainly greens, blues,
and mauves. The border consists of a wreath of leaves in various
green-grey tones connected by a single, thin, black line and bead.
Circa 1940's.
Notes: This is a magnificent pattern, which can also be found in
monochrome, blue-grey tones. The all-grey version is known to have
been produced by Shenango as well, and named by them
"Greylock." |
