Pattern Description: This pattern features a bright green exterior glaze. The
decoration is a large, underglaze decal of a rhododendron or azalea-like flower in
pink.
Notes: This pattern also appears with a gold edge, and can be found
with a pink rim instead of green. A near-perfect
match to "Greenbrier" produced by Sterling China. 1950's-1960's.
Originally created for Dorothy Draper's "Romance and Rhododendrons"
themed decoration of the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs. |
