Body Color:
White
Decoration: Blue
Pattern Description: Partial or crescent (half moon) airbrushed rim on white
body. Circa 1980.
Notes: This bright, sky blue color is often associated with the
Sambo's Restaurant chain. Early Sambo's dinner plates feature a palm
tree and the restaurant's name in addition to the blue airbrushed
rim. Jackson produced an identical pattern, and the two are often
found mixed. It is likely that Sterling took over production of this
pattern when Jackson ceased operations. |
