Pattern Description: Dark brown, asymmetrical border design on ivory
body. 1950's-1960's.
Notes: Slight variations of this pattern, meant to be easily mixed,
were produced (in a number of colors) by several makers, including
Mayer and Syracuse. Buffalo called their entry "Crest."
Green-on-white is, undeniably, the most common version; which may be
why the less-frequently-seen colors seem a bit more attractive! |
