Body Color:
White
Decoration: Red
Pattern Description: Overlapping and opposing trifoliolate
(three-fingered) leaves in
red tones on white body. 1970's.
Notes: A popular and collected pattern, due to it's purported use by the
Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railroad. We often see this pattern
offered for sale as "railroad china;" however, it was
available to, and used by, many non-transportation related concerns.
No item has surfaced with a railroad backstamp, and none was
apparently so marked, which makes it impossible
to determine if any particular piece was actually used in dining car service. |
