Body Color:
Tan
Decoration: Brown (rust-brown)
Pattern Description: A decorative, transfer print band, consisting
of acanthus,
flowers, cornucopia, and fan-shaped elements. Decoration is
rust-brown on tan. 1930's-1950's.
Notes: A very attractive and long-lived pattern, often found on items with the
"Inca Ware" mark. Somewhat similar to Sterling's
"Elite" pattern; though "Elite" tends to feature
darker brown decoration, while "Edgemere" is closer to
rust. This pattern can also be found on white-bodied ware. |
