Pattern Description: Decorative outer border of lattice, with
curvilinear shapes innermost. Sprays of stylized blooms,
predominantly pink and green, placed at verge, with leaves in Nile
green and light blue. Large sprays alternate with a smaller floral
element. 1950's.
Notes: This pattern is exemplary of the colorful and elaborate
decalcomania designs produced by Mayer. This pattern, with the
addition of a custom topmark, was used by the Fifth Avenue Hotel in
New York. |
