Pattern Description: Reverse decoration consisting of spiny leaves of various sizes,
on
dark, olive green band. 1960's-1970's.
Notes: One of Jackson's "exclusive" raised
enamel designs. This process produced designs which,
as the name applies, are detectable by touch. Jackson advertised
mixing solid color items with these patterns for various effects;
e.g. Jackson's "Spartan - Green." These designs were also
produced in "reverse"; i.e. green leaves on white, in
regular, non-enameled decoration. |
