Pattern Description: partial or crescent airbrushed rim on white
body. 1970's.
Notes: This bright, sky blue color is often associated with the
Sambo's Restaurant chain. Early Sambo's dinner plates feature a
stencil airbrushed palm tree, and the restaurant's name, in addition to the blue airbrushed
rim. These decorated plates are now highly collectible. Sterling produced an identical pattern, and the two are often
found mixed. |
