rarity and collectibility rating - three stars
Body Color: White
Decoration: Dark brown
Pattern Description: Transfer print decoration, in dark brown on white body, featuring acanthus scrolls and small, four-petal blooms. 1950's.
Notes: Often seen with "P.R." in the backstamp, which indicates production at the Puerto Rico plant; Caribe China would continue to manufacture this pattern following their acquisition of the operation in 1951. As they undoubtedly used the same printing plates (and materials) the patterns are identical and easily mixed.
