Pattern Description: Rust or pumpkin-colored band both inside and
outside rim, and on foot. Underglaze decal decoration featuring a
devil-costumed figure over flames. A smaller version of the figure
appears in the well of the saucer. 1940's.
Notes: This is the very collectible, original version of this
pattern; produced exclusively for Loubat of New Orleans, and used at
the world-famous Brennan's Restaurant. Many makers would imitate this pattern, but none matches the quality and
collectibility of the original Carr items. |
