Body Color:
Blue
Decoration: Cobalt blue
Pattern Description: Cobalt blue transfer print decoration on blue
"Lune" body. Pattern consists of a band or garland of
small, trifoliate leaves, broken a single time by the placement of a
large spray of wild rose blooms, buds, and leaves. Circa
1940's-1950's.
Notes: Buffalo produced a number of striking cobalt blue transfer
prints on the "Lune" body. Due to their unique appearance,
the patterns can be easily mixed, as well as used as accents with
plain "Lune." |
