Pattern Description: Transfer print decoration in mulberry
(red/maroon) on tan, "Café" body. The principal floral
element appears to be somewhat of a cross between a flame lily and a
parrot variety tulip. 1950's.
Notes: Identical decoration can be found applied to blue-bodied Lunè
Ware. Variations appear with only a single bloom, as opposed to the
pair, which appear on the plate illustrated. |
