A charming
custom backstamp on this wonderful china that reads: "Stolen
From Blackstone Coffee Shop - Amarillo, Texas." A great Art
Deco pattern by McNicol, featuring a vignette of frolicking nymphs
with a line and band border. All decoration is black on white body.
The coffee shop was apparently located in the old Blackstone Hotel,
an Amarillo landmark structure, which still exists at 202 W. 10th Avenue.
The restaurant is now operating as the Blackstone Cafe, and has been
serving Thai-Chinese cuisine since 1981 - stop by, and tell them we sent you!
