Simply
decorated, but still a great platter from Caribe for the Old
Heidelberg. We can tell you nothing about the origins of the piece,
other than it turned up in Fort Worth, Texas. "Old
Heidelberg" seems to be a popular name, a characteristic which
always throws a wrench into our research efforts! The airbrushed rim
is a bit more golden in tone than it appears to be in the image.
