A
wonderful pattern from Mayer, manufactured for the Manger Hotel
chain. We unknowingly and incorrectly oriented the logo on the plate
for the photo - it should be rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
"HE" represents "Hearth & Embers," a
restaurant which opened in the Manger Motor In in Charlotte, NC in
1960. We are grateful to William C. Manger, Grandson of the company
founder, for providing us with this information!
