The
Grand Hotel of Mackinac Island, Michigan, is steeped in history.
Known for its timeless romance and isolation, the hotel has
"starred" in a number of films. This particular china
pattern bears the hotel's trademark - an open carriage drawn by two
horses. You will find this logo on the home page of the hotel's
website. A glance at the main dining room reveals a lovely floral
pattern. Some data suggests that the carriage design appears on AD
cups only; though we have yet to receive confirmation of this from
the hotel's dining room manager.
