magnificently beautiful dinner plate from the New Colonial Hotel Co.
of the Bahamas. Manufactured by O.P. Co. Syracuse China, the piece
is dated May of 1930. The decoration is extremely detailed and
beautiful, and the logo which appears consists of an anchor, a palm
tree and a sailing ship surrounded by a banner bearing the hotel's
name. The majority of the decoration is over-glaze, with the
exception of the line on the outer rim, and another on the verge.
One of the prettiest plates we have seen.
