A
wonderful plate from the Riverside Hospital. Though not a certainty,
the Riverside of Columbus, Ohio seems a likely candidate for the
origin of this piece. Once again, we find an elaborate design which
could only be meant to compensate for the legendary quality of
hospital cuisine. Unfortunately, you had to get through the food to
see the plate! Numerous utensil marks indicate the piece was indeed
used for food service. Syracuse "Old Ivory" backstamp.
