A
neat topmark from Scammell for the Union Club. The large initials
"U" and "C" appear, but if one looks closely,
one finds the very tiny letters, "N-I-O-N," on top of the
"U." The letter "C" pierces the "U"
through the "I" and the "O." All decoration is
blue on white body. Thanks to Gypsy's Restaurant Ware for
identifying this pattern as belonging to the Union Club of New York.
