A
neat fruit bowl from Tepco for the Elks. Tan body color with a deep
maroon stripe. It appears the dark color contained some cobalt,
which of course has the propensity to run during firing. This has
left a "flow blue" effect to some degree on this bowl.
Condition is excellent, with just a couple of utensil marks. The
maroon and tan make for an attractive color combination.

This
beautiful little cream pitcher features a colorful Elks logo and the
number "99," which we believe is a Los Angeles lodge. The
basic pattern is a blue-grey band with oak leaves and lion passant,
and is known as "Mistic." Not marked by the maker, but
likely by Syracuse. There is a tiny bump and nick on the edge, just
above the handle - very minor and difficult to see, we missed this
initially. Quite inconsequential. A beautiful little pitcher!
